Nursing home visits are allowed again, in some parts of West Virginia as Covid 19 cases show signs of slowing. However, some elderly care facilities are still having major problems and new deaths are being reported in several areas this morning. Classes start tomorrow at WVU with a number of pandemic guidelines clearly in place. It’s day two at Marshall and the rate of Covid 19 there is very low. Requests for additional unemployment benefits through FEMA for West Virginia are being finalized and in sports, our daily preview of the high school football season focuses on the Eastern Panhandle and vaunted Martinsburg. Those stories and more in today’s edition of MetroNews This Morning.
