Last links for a couple days as we head into the (Canadian) Thanksgiving long weekend. The Oilers were victorious last night against the Vancouver Canucks on the back of their O’Doyle of a power play (it rules and is a bully), but Zack Kassian took a tumble during a fight that saw him fall skull-first onto the ice and require assistance to get off. It was really ugly stuff and you hate to see it.
"He's got a pretty good bump on his head from hitting the ice but he was in good spirits & was telling jokes when I came & saw him after the game."
Coach Tippett provided an encouraging update on Kassian following tonight's #Oilers win.
