Summer is in full swing in Katy. Most community pools are open though COVID precautions may apply. Many Katy neighborhood amenities include luxurious, resort-style pools that transform a Katy summer day into a memory-filled experience.

The pandemic brought about many changes, but so far, most community pools are reopening this summer for Katy families to enjoy the fun and beat the heat. Residents need to check community sites, hours and safety protocols as they are subject to change.
NOTE: Most of these community pools are open only to residents and their guests.
Cinco Ranch

With 12 pools throughout the community, Cinco Ranch offers a wide variety of summertime water fun. Encompassing over 8,000 acres, Cinco Ranch is one of Katy’s largest communities with a diverse spectrum of housing types available. There are lap pools, a real beach with sand and multiple waterpark-style pools with large waterslide towers, splash parks, and resort-style pools. No matter where residents live in Cinco Ranch, they are close to an incredible pool.

Experience summer fun at Cane Island from the adult-only lap pool, family pool, interactive splash pad. Katy kids enjoy the water slides, water buckets, sprayers, and more in the family-friendly zone. Lounge in the VIP style cabanas and pop in the café for a drink or snack.
Elyson

One of Katy’s fastest growing communities is Elyson and home to a year-round pool. The family-friendly pool has lap lanes and a beach style entry easy for little swimmers to enter safely and comfortably. A full fitness center, gameroom, and event lawn is also adjacent to the pool. Elyson also has a larger splash pad play park.

Firethorne's pool is spacious with split levels and a cascading waterfall. It is perfect for playing, sunbathing, and picnicking so no matter what your family’s pool wants are this one can meet it. It’s ideal for families looking to balance both play and relaxation.

Cross Creek Ranch houses three waterparks within their community.
Adventure Island
Adventure Island has a 140-ft water slide perched atop the community’s iconic Hill, which overlooks the main lake. There is a wading pool, lap lanes, and tanning shelves with water jets.
Flewellen Creek Pool
This area has a large infinity-edged pool with dedicated lap lanes, shaded areas with relaxing loungers and activities on the green.
Greenthread Park
This resort-style pool includes water features and tanning shelves for those wanting to soak up the sun and get a little bronzer this summer while relaxing. There is also a pavilion, event lawn, and trails for family fun.
Jordan Ranch

Enjoy the freeform pool and kids will love the state-of-the art splash pad. Residents can grab a tube ride around the lazy river. Breezy cabanas offer shade and relaxation while still offering a view of the pool and allowing you to keep an eye on younger swimmers. A nearby picnic area offers grills and cooking spots.

Train at a Jr. Olympic swimming party including a fun spray park. Amenities are everywhere at this community great for families.
Grand Lakes
Grand Lakes has 4 sparkling pools and 27 fully stocked lakes for residents and their guests to enjoy. The splash and play spray park is an ideal way to beat the summer heat.
