On Monday at Wild Horse Golf Course, Dan Powell won the first flight with a net 69, followed by Craig Lewis (70), Gary Robinson (71) and John O’Brien (72).

Dennis Kalis won second flight with a net 72. Rick Meyers and Dick Babington both shot 73s, Meyers edging him on the handicap hole tiebreaker. Ken O’Connell carded an 83.

Third flight went to Bill Hartman with a net 64, followed by Jerry Horan (73), Frank Bottoms (77) and Bruce Smith (79).

The fourth flight winner was Ed Pedigo with a net 71, followed by Art Calderon (73), John Fink (74) and Curt Newland (75).

Babington came closest to the pin on hole No. 4 at 5 feet, 4 inches. O’Connell was nearest on No. 6 at 17 feet, 10 inches. Powell was closest on No. 12 at 7 feet, 1 inch, while Bottoms was nearest on No. 14 at 10 feet, 11 inches.

Nine Arounders

On Tuesday, Marilee Schauff had the low gross of 53 and Sue Watkins had the low net of 33.

Glora Ostrum chipped in on hole No. 4.

Genny Lopez won first flight with a gross of 50 and a net 35, followed by Ostrum (54/39) and Kitty Lockwood (56/39), Ostrum edging Lockwood on the handicap hole tiebreaker.

Second flight went to Judi Moses (55/37), followed by Kim Wink (59/40) and Rene Romiski (61/42).

Sandy Latchford won third flight with a 63/40. Stephanie Adams also shot a 63/40, but Latchford won on the tiebreaker. Kim Weaver (65/43) was third.

Paradise Valley Women’s Golf Club

Darlene Goodman was Ace of the Month with a net 66. Beryl Bridges and Nanci Stevenson were Putters of the Month with 32 putts.

Goodman won first flight with her net 66, followed by Regina Cortez (72), Maria Quaintance (76) and Des Javier (76).

In second flight, Vicky Flandi and Rita May both netted 76s. LeeAnn Fortney shot a 77 and Sandy Kreger carded an 80.

Third flight went to Lisa Finnegan with a net 70, followed by Beryl Bridges (71), Becky Carroll (73) and Henri Newland (73).

Goodman came closest to the pin on hole No. 8 at 11 feet, 5 inches. On hole No. 17. Carroll was nearest at 1 foot, 1 inch, while Goodman was 1 foot, 10 inches away.

Goodman birdied hole No. 4. Jody Knight birdied No. 9 and Fortney and Newland both birdied No. 14.

Newland chipped in on hole No. 14, while Stevenson chipped in on No. 6.

Niners

In Sweeps on Thursday, Judy Royle won first flight with a net 25, followed by Glora Ostrum (29), Genny Lopez (30) and Judi Moses (34).

Second flight went to Kitty Lockwood with a net 29, followed by Barbara James (32). Sue Watkins and Kim Weaver both carded 33s, Watkins winning on the handicap hole tiebreaker.

Judy Horan won third flight with a net 30. Diana Choate was second with a 31 and Nancy Schlesinger was third with a 33.

Marillyn Weaver won fourth flight with a net 24, followed by Marge Tye (26) and Terri Denton (32).

Fifth flight went to Rosie McCown with a net 27, followed by Shirley Morris (28), Shirley Helmich (30) and Cathy Treece (33).

Lopez and Marilee Schauff birdied hole No. 4.

Schauff chipped in on hole No. 4 and Rosemarie Chonezena chipped in on No. 2.
