Destiny 2 Seasonal Challenges Week 8 (Season of the Splicer) - Polygon

asianpostmedia.blogspot.com

Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer’s Week 8 Seasonal Challenges arrived on June 29, and in this guide we’ll show you how to complete them all.

Some Season 14 weekly Challenges are more involved than the others. Check out the descriptions below for advice on the fastest way to complete these Seasonal Challenges — particularly Before the Dawn, Speedhack, and Crack and Decrypt 3 in Season 14 — before they expire on Aug. 24.

Before the Dawn

Challenge: Speak to the Splicer Servitor and complete Path of the Splicer 8, and open Corrupted Chests in Expunge. 20 Corrupted Chests.

This mission will take you a while. The Path of the Splicer section should be easy enough, but 20 Corrupted Chests will take time. You need Corrupted Key Codes to unlock Corrupted Chests, which appear at the end of Corrupted Expunge missions. Corrupted Key Codes drop randomly from enemies, so you’ll need to just play the game until you have enough.

Speedhack

Challenge: Complete the Override mission in 15 minutes or less.

This Challenge depends on your matchmaking. If you get a good enough team, you’ll be able to complete an Override in 15 minutes fairly easily. If you get a bad team, you won’t make it. The more Overrides you complete, the more likely you are to finish this one.

Crack and Decrypt 3

Challenge: Unlock Conflux Chests by completing Override missions. Decrypt Season of the Splicer Engrams at the Prismatic Recaster. 45 Conflux Chests. 45 Engrams.

For this one, you just need to complete 45 Override missions with valid keys. If you’ve upgraded your Splicer gauntlet, you’ll also likely get plenty of Splicer Engrams to decrypt. If not, use your Data to make your own.

Vexterminator

Challenge: Defeat Powerful Vex anywhere in the system. Earn bonus progress for defeating them in Override or Expunge.

You’ll just need to kill a lot of Vex for this one. If you’ve been keeping up with Season of the Splicer, you shouldn’t have much trouble completing this.

Primeval Patina

Challenge: Acquire the Primeval Patina ornament for Null Composure.

Once you have the Null Composure fusion rifle, you’ll just need to complete the Gambit-specific quest. You need to kill enemies with fusion rifles and Solar weapons. You’ll also need to complete Gambit matches.

Trial by Firing Squad

Challenge: Win multiple rounds in the Trials of Osiris. Seven wins.

For this, you just need to win seven Trials of Osiris rounds. That’s much easier said than done, but that’s all you’ll need to do.

Vanguard Vestments

Challenge: Acquire the Vanguard Vestments ornament for Null Composure.

Like the Primeval Patina, you’ll need to acquire Null Composure and then take up the Strike-specific mission for it. You’ll need to complete Nightfalls and kill enemies with fusion rifles.

Make sure to finish all of these and the rest of the Seasonal Challenges if you want to complete the Master of All Challenge by Aug. 24, which rewards a Large Bright Dust Pile.
