The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Chicago Cubs 8-3 on Friday.
Brewers starter Brandon Woodruff pitched two innings and did not give up any runs despite allowing five hits.

Keston Hiura notched an RBI double and Dan Vogelbach added an RBI single in the third inning.
Dylan Cozens knocked a solo shot in the fifth, then Jace Peterson hit a three-run triple and Billy McKinney smacked a two-run home run in the sixth inning to make it 8-0.
Milwaukee reliever Eric Yardley threw a scoreless frame in the fourth inning followed by J.P. Feyereisen striking out two in a scoreless fifth inning.
The Brewers are back in action on Saturday at 2:05 p.m. for a road game against the Kansas City Royals. The game will air on FOX Sports Wisconsin.
