After a winter storm dumped as much as a foot of snow on parts of Massachusetts over the weekend, some school districts announced closures, delays or remote learning schedules for Monday, Feb. 8.
Amid the snowstorm Sunday, communities in Norfolk County recorded as much as 12 inches of snow, and the National Weather Service expanded its winter storm warning in the afternoon to encompass areas around Boston, Cape Cod and Plymouth.

- Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro -- Opening delayed by 2 hours Monday morning
- Blue Hills Regional Technology High School in Canton -- Opening delayed by 1 hour Monday morning
- Bishop County Agricultural High School in Dighton -- Remote learning schedule Monday

- Dartmouth Public Schools -- Remote learning schedule Monday. From district officials: “All students should log into their Google Meet at the normal start of the day.”
- Dennis-Yarmouth Regional District -- Opening delayed by 2 hours Monday morning

- Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical High School in Danvers -- Opening delayed by 1 hour Monday morning. From school officials: “This means that buses will be delayed by 1 hour, and the first bell will be at 8:45 a.m.”

- Falmouth Public Schools -- Opening delayed by 2 hours Monday morning. From district officials: “There is concern with overnight freezing, and we need to allow DPW additional time to have all roads cleared prior to the school buses running.”

- Monomoy Regional School District in Chatham -- Opening delayed Monday morning. From district officials: “Please note the following start times: CES and HES - 9:45 a.m., MRMS and MRHS - 10:45 a.m. This late start time applies to all distance/remote learners as well, in order to maintain consistency across our programs.”

- New Bedford Public Schools -- Remote learning schedule Monday. From district officials: “Based on the current weather conditions, New Bedford Public Schools will implement full distance learning for ALL students tomorrow, February 8, 2021. All after school activities will continue as scheduled.”
- Norwood Public Schools -- Remote learning schedule Monday. From district officials: “Due to snowstorm cleanup, the Norwood Public Schools will be all remote learning on Monday.”

- Silver Lake Regional School District -- Opening delayed by 1 hour Monday morning. From district officials: “Due to the need to clear buses, there will be a 1-hour delay in Halifax, Kingston, Plympton and Silver Lake Regional Schools today.”

- Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School -- Opening delayed by 2 hours Monday morning. From district officials: “Due to Sunday’s storm, all daytime classes will be delayed by two hours on Monday, February 8th. This includes in-school and remote learning. All morning bus routes will be delayed by two hours.”
