CASS COUNTY, MI – A man and a boy were injured Sunday, Dec. 6, when a gun malfunctioned while they were targeting shooting, sheriff’s deputies said.
David Williamson, 28, and Jeremiah Craigo, 8, were target shooting outside of a residence in Cass County around 8:45 p.m. when they were injured, police said.
The victims were taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in South Bend where they were in stable condition, police said.
Edwardsburg police and South East Public Safety Authority firefighters also responded to the scene.
