Third-year linebacker Chris Board made his first career start and registered a half-sack for the Baltimore Ravens, highlighting Week 8 for former North Dakota State football players in the NFL.

Carson Wentz threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 17 yards on the ground in the Eagles' 23-9 primetime victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The win solidified the Eagles in first place in the NFC East for at least the next two weeks.

Billy Turner continued his starting streak for the Green Bay Packers, having now played 325 straight offensive snaps. Fellow Packer Darrius Shepherd made the most out of the chances he was given, catching his lone target and recording 53 kick return yards on special teams.

There are 10 current NFL players from North Dakota State, with eight on active rosters, one on injured reserve and rookie offensive lineman Zack Johnson on the Packers' practice squad.
