1 more death and 8 new positive test results for COVID-19 in the county were reported, as of Saturday.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 18th COVID related death is an 87-year old woman who passed away on Friday. She was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with COVID on Thursday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team reported the total number of cases is now at 922. Of those, 854 are people that have received positive test results and 68 are presumptive. 14 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized locally. 226 people are in isolation. 463 people are quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 689 people that are in either isolation or quarantine. There have been 18,576 negative test results for COVID-19 in the county.
The next drive through testing clinic with the Douglas Public Health Network is Tuesday in Roseburg.
