The postponed Patriots-Chiefs Week 4 game has been rescheduled for Monday night at 7:05 p.m. ET, the league announced Sunday. The game will be broadcast on CBS.

As a result, the Monday Night Football game between the Falcons and Packers will start at 8:50 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The game was postponed on Saturday morning after Patriots quarterback Cam Newton and Chiefs practice squad QB Jordan Ta'amu both tested positive for COVID-19. Both players have been placed on the reserve/COVID list and are ruled out of the Week 4 matchup.

All of the Patriots' and Chiefs' POC tests from Sunday morning have come back negative. There have been no other positives besides Newton and Ta'amu from the past few days. The teams are still awaiting word from their normal daily PCR tests conducted on Sunday, they are expecting those results to come in by night's end.

"Further testing of players and personnel on both teams returned no new positives from Saturday and Sunday testing," the league said in a statement. "The clubs also worked closely with the NFL and NFLPA and infectious disease experts to conduct contact tracing and post-COVID exposure protocols are now in effect for both teams."

Barring any new positive tests, New England is expected to travel to Kansas City on Monday, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
