US, Uzbekistan Pledge to Build Closer Strategic Partnership

U.S. President Donald Trump and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev pledged to build a closer strategic partnership after talks at the White House on Wednesday. The two leaders discussed strengthening economic and military ties and regional security, fighting against terrorism and bolstering human rights in the Central Asian nation.
