British American Climber Makes 3rd Attempt at K2 Summit

Climbers striving to reach the summit of the world’s second largest mountain, K-2, have been stymied the past two years because of unusually harsh weather conditions and rock-snow avalanches, blamed on climatic changes. But British-based American climber, Vanessa O’Brien has not been deterred. O'Brien, 52, spoke about her endeavor to reporters in Islamabad.
